living room update

the living room is starting to shape up! jef tackled the job of dyeing the polyester curtains we inherited from the previous owner. we’re hoping to get them professionally dyed a deeper red at some point (recommendations, anyone?), but we’re quite happy for now.

all that’s left for now is to refinish and reinstall the baseboards. crown molding and maybe other woodwork will come later. even so, we feel it’s a great improvement over this:

    LOVE the floral sofa.

    And check with an upholsterer (sp?) about the dye job.
