One tip I learned after my first experience with replating.....ask one of your local motorocycle shops who does their custom work. The place I used to do my first replating lacked some serious customer service & attention to detail. But the place I have my eye on for future work was recommended by the place where my bike is serviced. Not sure why that didn't dawn on me earlier.
